Prairie New York Designer Sample Sale

Fab designer fashion label Prairie New York is running a sample sale but before I talk about this sale let me say something about this label that I only first discovered and mentioned in my 30% OFF Designer Fashion Sale post, on Friday, December 05, 2008.

Prairie New York is a contemporary women’s fashion label that attempts everyday to live up to the city where it is designed and made. Fashion designer Danielle Shriber describes it as being uptown chic and downtown cool; never too serious and always ready for fun.

Versatile enough for both day and evening, Prairie New York is known for being wearable and incredibly chic, combining luxurious fabrics with unique and identifiable trim. Bold, large scale prints, luscious solids, and embellishments are the cornerstones of the Prairie New York look: the look that gets a girl noticed.

The Prairie New York collection can be found at luxury retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus as well as top fashion boutiques across the country and internationally. However, right now you have the chance to bag beautiful, feminine and sophisticated pieces from this label at sample sale prices. Here are brief descriptions on some of the items that will be available at this sale.

Wool Strapless Dress (WAS $250, NOW $40): One of the best-selling Prairie New York items from Fall, the Wool Strapless dress was a Fall favorite of Saks.com. A gorgeous blend of ponte stretch cotton on top with stone detail and wool on the bottom, it flatters the body amazingly (available in various colors).

With the sort of prices these guys charge, a sample sale is the only way to own a peice. My wallet has seen better times of late, so i have taken action and am building a wardrobe of key, classic items, that are diverse, season less and well made. My newest edition was a kstreet nyc tshirt, i cant believe thau mmeasure your bust and waist so that its perfect for you, LOVE IT... looks so fab and is god damn comfortable... from now on its all about concious shopping and no more throw away fashion!

I completely agree with you... I love all these fashion blogs but I'm getting sick of everyone still lusting over high fashion at high prices which will be in the trash the following season, I am going to check out this Kstreet tshirt as this seems like the right direction to be headed.

  3. High fashion goes for exclusivity and aesthetics, which I think is the sole reason why it exists. Just like overpriced prints, it doesn't really make sense if you take the signature out of the product.
