| Christian Louboutin Sample Sale |
As many will know the Chistian Louboutin biannual Sample Sale is one of those secret designer sales. Originally this sale was rumored to take place on Thursday, November 11 (see: Manolo Sale Scheduled for Same Day as Rumored Louboutin Sale). But now, the latest news is that it is to take place next week, from November 17 to 19 at Louboutin's NYC Showroom, 306 West 38th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues), 14th Floor, New York, NY (see: Louboutin Sample Sale, NEXT WEEK). The first day is usually for VIPs including Editors and Media, then it's the private sale for friends and family and those in the know. Either way you have to be on the List as this is an exclusive, private and invite-only sample sale (see: The Christian Louboutin Sale Is Like Bungalow 8 When It Was Cool). And what's more, if you're not on the list then don't bother as with the honcho security guards, you just won't get in without an invite (see: Christian Louboutin Sample Sale - Don't Bother Attending if You're Not On the List). So with discounts of up to 70-80%, (from as low as $100 for a pair of covetted Louboutins, compared to the normal retail price of upwards of $500, and sometimes at Louboutin boutiques and authorized retailers like Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue department stores, you can expect to pay thousands of dollars depending on the style) what shoeaholic wouldn't just die to be on that List!!!
So I ask, who would love an invite? Would you love to get your hot little hands on a pair of those luxurious designer shoes with an authentic signature red-sole for $100 or so? What I would do! I would use my flier miles to get there for a weekend and then buy at least 3 pairs! I would also bring my best friend with me to NY so that I can call her and tell her what is there and pick up a few for her as well. It would be a manic weekend turn around, but so worth it! Please take me Chic Alert!!

I'll get all the scoop on this sale...the sizes available, styles, photos and even the "Devil Wears Prada" type women who are wrestling each other to get their shoes!

ReplyDeleteI so despeartely wanted the shoes that I went toi the sale twice in the week and could not get in. Last Thursday I came in and the big sign said there is no sale today. I was told the sale would be the next week which is today. I went in today, and yes there is a sale, but they did not let me in without an invitation. I went to the city for nothing. Very dissapointing.
ReplyDeleteI would love to be at this exclusive CL event!! Not only am I a shoe fanatic but I will most definitely follow the conditions of it, only because its Christian Louboutin. I would drop everything that I'm doing right now just to attend. I was hoping that for the 3rd day they might not care about the invites as much and have people who weren't invited go in for the last few hours. But I've been doing my research and it doesn't seem like it. :(

ReplyDeleteAs a CL fan, these shoes means a magic to me, the bright red make me feel confident, sexy, different. As I told before, my have a tiny collection of CL and each one has a story to tell: some of them are birthday suprise, some of them show the love from my BF. It's the only brand I am addicted to. Although it does't follow the " fashion" that much as miu, the old styles also addorable as time went by. Maybe this is the reason why I love it. So I really want to go with u as a 'real' lover .

ReplyDeleteWhat I would do for a pair of those shiny red soles! I would do anything and blog about every single detail, from the moment I walked in the door to the sliding sound of my credit card. What a satisfactory and shoegasmic experience that would be!! I've been saving for months to buy myself a pair for christmas, but if I could get two or three for the price of one...it would be beyond fastastic!! Every girl needs a little shoe bling...after all when in doubt...rock the red!

I would document every single moment, from the moment I walked in through the door to the sound of my credit card sliding through the machine. Not to mention what a satisfactory and shoegasmic experience it would be! I've been trying to save for a pair I've had my eye on for a while, but if I could buy 2,3,or 4 pairs for the same price as 1...priceless. After all, when in doubt rock the red!

I would make a speech at my wedding about chic alert record the video and of the whole Louboutin adventure and use it as an ad for chicalert and who knows even Louboutin himself would love a copy of it! lol
